Anna Andreu and Gerard Díaz have been trained as violin and bowmaker in Cremona with the maestri Massimo Negroni and Juliane Schanzenbach.

After the degree they moved to Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona) where they have been making and reparing modern and historical instruments and historical bows. They have also had temporary stays in other workshops such as Liutarte (Naples, 2003), Gallo (Cremona 2004-2005 and 2013), Laulhère et Chittò (Paris, 2008), Fasser (Brescia, 2010), Loescher (Barcelona, 2005-2006), Grunberger (Paris, 2009), Sadka (Truro, 2010 and 2012) and Pecchia (Barcelona 2016-2017).

Anna Andreu has a degree in musicology from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and since 2011 she has been collaborating with the Museu de la Música de Barcelona. Since 2006 she is the string technician at the Superior School of Music of Barcelona (ESMUC).

Gerard Díaz has been collaborating since 2012 with the Vidal i Roca workshop in Barcelona repairing bows.

Both are part of the Col.lectiu Música Antiga Sant Cugat, association of musicians, musicologists and instrument makers that organizes "CONTRATEMPS músiques històriques ara!" and other activities related to the early music.
